Nine youth accompanied by eight adults attended the SPANUSA National Awareness Event in Washington DC September 19th through the 21st. The Colie's Closet Memory Quilt was one of 39 presented at the Memorial Event at the Lincoln Memorial on September 19th.

The Memory Quilt is on display at Mountain View United Methodist Church, 355 Ponca Place, Boulder, CO through October 30, 2004.

The Memory quilt is an ongoing project and we will continue to make quilts as long as there is a need. Blocks are now being collected for quilts which will be presented at the SPANUSA Event in 2005, and will be displayed locally to help provide awareness to the community.
